The area has several green spaces include bay-front Barnacle Historic State Park, home to a beautiful mangrove forest, and the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, centered on a lavish Italian-style villa.
Travel Tip: – With a Bellini prepared picnic, walk or cycle on the Mr. C bicycles to the David T. Kennedy Park.
Sorry for the reality check. The Coconut Grove I know of from the past isn’t as glamorous as it seems. Look west and you will find pockets of some of the poorest areas of South Florida you can find..
I was just in Coconut Grove last February and had a fantastic time. Was at the Ritz and felt totally safe walking around and visiting the shops in the area.
